I was blessed for attending service today. Pastor covered a familiar passage of scripture (Ps.23), shedding new light on things I've overlooked. I'll preface my blessing with the fact that, this past weeks youth study was taught along the same lines. I enjoy how The Spirit of God works that way. His msg. was about trust and prior to delivering his sermon, he spoke on identity. Know who you are. Thinking back, another minister came out of Ephesians on the same subject matter before Pastor preached...,SMH. Who you are is wrapped up in Christ. If you belong to Him then He has the blueprint, schematic, product code, etc., to your life. Why waste it trying to figure it out with Him. Psalms 23 states, "The Lord is my shepherd...". Pastor illustrated the workings of a shepherd's job in detail and one particular point rose poignantly to the the surface. Sheep wander but a shepherd constantly reels them back in and therein rests the blessing that I received. We stray. Whet...

No one said this walk'd be easy but the journey with Christ makes it bearable. You always hear saints say,"just pray that God's Will be done",SMH. Let me clue you in on something, He doesn't need your prayers to fulfill His Will, it just sounds nice. This walk requires obedience which is better than sacrifice but requires sacrifice as well. It was Christ's obedience unto death and His role as The Ultimate Sacrifice atoning for the sins of all mankind that made this journey a reality. This walk requires private time with God in study, reflection, and meditation on/in His Word. God, in His infinite wisdom, takes hold of our hands i.e., lives, once we've accepted Him as Lord and Savior, taking us along like children across and through this journey. I recall song lyrics stating,"I'm glad He sees through eyes of love...". No one does it like my Dad in heaven. He's the imperial shot caller and I'd rather be an adopted son of His than a bast...

When's the last time you took a serious account of your relationship with Christ? Are you living in the fullness of who He's created you to be or is there something missing..., John   10:10 , " The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" . A walk with Christ for a believer is a life long journey of faith and learning..., Proverbs 4:7, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy  getting get understanding.". Knowing who you are and what you're worth to your Father in heaven can greatly improve your daily living..., Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.". A saving, faith knowledge of the blood that was shed on calvary by One for the sins of many should, in simplest terms encourage you to "make your Fath...

ChristianNetworkBlog Family: Christian family, i was talking to my son tonight after watching a scene from a movie that'll go unmentioned.why, you might ask.the movie's title is not as important as what I told him and will share with you.the series of events in the scenes we'd watched during the film brought the character to the edge of life but after facing eminent death the character was left the better for it.the character's eyes were opened, so to speak.what i explained to my son was that the entire theory and it's enactment via cinema was a mass message delivery of a worldly theory.the theory's roots may have some of its origins in our (believers) truth but it's been tainted by the enemies of God.yes, a near death experience may bring one to a live life like you've got no tomorrow attitude but who's life will you live.the one you want for you, which is driven by your flesh or the one Jesus wants for you? the latter also is a life changing expe...

i truly apologize for the delay between blogs and i'll make no excuses but it leads me into this next blog.i've found that by default,i find myself letting people down on purpose.why would someone do that, you may ask?many of us have found fault in those we've looked up to,had confidence in,or trusted with our deepest and darkest secrets.on numerous occasions we've done so only to find that those individuals had "feet of clay" just like us.after dealing with these disappointments and with some years of this reality under the belt, the pain loses its shock value, doesn't hurt as much, and sometimes...,not at all.but beware!as i've indicated,i have begun to show my own faults and fallibility early on in relationships in a feeble attempt to facilitate the potential "too good a person to be true" attitude which waits in the wings.the attitude that waits to feed the soapbox boasting by the enemy claiming,"i told you so",all to gain power ov...

the word of God says that the Lord chastens those of whom He loves.life is humorous in the fact that it allows us to draw connections to things we are passionate about through intense experiences.in other words,if you've gone through something that changes your perception, behavior,or life, then you are more compelling in expressing your position regarding the matter.just as a parent reprimands and/or delivers discipline to a child,God deals in a similar manner with those He calls His own.He will even go as far as making the affairs that surround your life,so intense that your focus becomes clear on the reality that He supplies all your needs. You can do nothing without His guidance and nothing is more important than the relationship that you build with your Lord and Saviour,Jesus Christ.                               ...

do you ever get the feeling that something’s just not right?yeah?well,we all get that from time to time but God does not.the fact that He doesn't get that feeling and we do lends additional faith to our hope in Christ. He lived as a man to experience what we go through but as both man and God at the same time,He was never surprised or in question about His life here on earth but served as an example of how we should carry on as pilgrims of this life.on this journey,we encounter sin and temptation at every turn and we dont always navigate the terrain correctly in accordance to God's Word.yet and still,He loves us to continue giving us another chance, and another, and another, and another, and ...!you get the point.then now,we further understand that these are just feelings and being fashioned in the image of our Heavenly Father we realize that we are spirit.we are spirit living out lives through flesh as opposed to flesh living out life through spiritual occasions and visitation...
