When's the last time you took a serious account of your relationship with Christ? Are you living in the fullness of who He's created you to be or is there something missing..., John 10:10, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly". A walk with Christ for a believer is a life long journey of faith and learning..., Proverbs 4:7, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.". Knowing who you are and what you're worth to your Father in heaven can greatly improve your daily living..., Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.". A saving, faith knowledge of the blood that was shed on calvary by One for the sins of many should, in simplest terms encourage you to "make your Father proud". Although that thinking may not resonate with everybody, the attitude of gratitude is key. A minister who recently visited SBC put it this way: he said that he wanted God to look back over his life and say,"that's my boy". Exhaust your days shining as brightly and as brilliantly as you can with the knowledge that Christ died and raised again, to make it so.
In short, we're here to give God glory..., Psalm 150:6, "Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord". So many people want to complicate the gifts, power, and greatness that He's placed in us all. Everything that's been deposited in you by Christ Jesus has been done so to give God glory. In fact, giving Him glory in your daily living'll actually take your mind off you just long enough for you to realize just how blessed you really are to have a Savior. Your relationship and faith walk with Christ over mountain tops and through valleys will teach you how to live in your abundance. Now, GO GET IT!
